This year Pinnacle Hospitality is proud to have two NATIONAL winners amongst us. James Abercrombie from Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodruff Road was recognized as Intercontinental Hotels Group Guest Service Manager of 2011, and Claude Lindsey from Hampton Inn & Suites Westgate was recognized as one of Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ Catch me at my Best Winners for 2011. When asked about the leadership displayed by these two leaders, their respective managers had the following to say:

James Abercrombie
“James impacted the property from Day 1. Prior to opening he took the initiative to ensure that we put together a fantastic team. He and I worked together interviewing and providing training to our opening team. Many of the original opening team members are still with us today. James is also very patient with his team and providing the tools and skills to develop them into wonderful assets to the hotel. His professionalism and dedication to providing a guest experience is unlike any other and is what makes him the best of the best.”

Claude Lindsey
“Claude began working with Pinnacle Hospitality in September of 2004, and is part of the original opening team for the Hampton Inn & Suites Westgate. No matter what the task might be; driving the shuttle, folding linen, setting up banquet rooms he always says ‘Yes!’ and then commits himself to the best job possible. Two years ago Claude became eligible for social security benefits and decided he wanted to work part-time. Since that time we have used Claude to train and orient new Facility employees as well as concentrate his floor care skills on keeping up the carpet and tile at the hotel and events center. Claude has been a winner of one of the top three ‘Catch Me at My Best’ programs at our hotel each year. We are delighted that he has been recognized on the national level as he certainly deserves this honor!”
